Well, Let me tell you about relocating because I have done it. My Family and I relocated from Boston, Massachuetts almost 6 years ago now. Here's how it went. Purchase a home when me and My sister-in-law flew down here in February on new construction. We found our Real Estate agent through the internet. We only had 3 days when we got here. We seen so many new homes and new subdivisions that when we went back to the hotel at night our heads were spinning, But we kept coming back to Lake St Charles every time we went out. Finally put a contract in on the homes we wanted. We wanted to be in Florida by the time school started. Well they started our home pretty quickly and ours was ready when it was suppose to be. Well my Sister-in-law & Brothers wasn't even permitted in May so there was no was it was going to be ready for the summer. Needless to say they had to come back down and start over and found another home that would be done. Ok, now my husband had to fly down to do a walk-through a couple weeks before.then We packed up and My husband and oldest son down the Truck with everything we owned in it. Me and my youngest son flew down a few days later. Then of course the finance couple we had from back in Massachusetts didn't have all there eggs in row and they kept making excuses why we couldn't close. So what started out as a few days in a hotel ended up to be 2 weeks in a hotel. The first few days weren't bad we went swimming, ate out, went shopping for everything we needed for our new home, but after a while it was too much being in a small hotel room with 4 of us. We started getting anxious to move it. Well finally after 2 weeks we finally close on our Beautiful new home in Lake St Charles, Riverview. This is a great place to be. Was well worth it after all was said and done. If you are relocating I know all the feelings you are going to deal with.
