It makes sense to buy in Charlotte!
I came across an article on MSN today that is called "66 Cities where buying makes sense
." It simply runs the numbers on 100 different markets and establishes where the numbers point to buy or rent.
Charlotte comes up in the top 50 places where it makes sense to purchase a home, rather than rent a home in the next few years. The study predicts that if you were to purchase a home today in the Charlotte region that in 4 years you would accrue $27K-$30K in equity.
You are seeing in the study that all the markets that were on fire just a few years ago, are the ones that got hit the hardest. The Charlotte region has a history of stability and growth and still remains one of the better markets to this day. Making money/building equity in buying and selling property is all about timing. The numbers are pointing to now being the time to invest in property in the Charlotte Real Estate Market!

is luxury waterfront condos at their best. Situated about a 1/4 mile off of exit 30 on I-77, this community offers it all. Amenities include boat slips, pools, waterfront boardwalks and gazebos, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, walking/exercise trails, and amazing sunsets.

Harborside - A Ryan Homes Community in Cornelius, NC near Lake Norman
is a Townhome community in a prime location 2 miles west on Catawaba Ave off of exit 28. Townhomes are currently starting in the upper 190's and go as large as 2,246 sq ft. The community boasts a small clubhouse and a pool to relax beside. Harborside is located directly beside Westmoreland, a David Weekley Homes single family community.

Westmoreland - A David Weekly Homes Community near the lake
is a single family community in a prime location 2 miles west on Catawaba Ave off of exit 28. Single Family Homes are currently starting in the mid 220's and range from 1500-2850 sq ft. David Weekly homes also offers 2 different sized homesites. The community boasts a clubhouse, pool, and tot-lot. Westmoreland is located directly beside Harborside Commons, a Ryan Homes Community.
