Lake Murray Country Visitors Center

This home was built at the turn of the century and was located near Columbia, SC on Broad River Road near the Intersection of Grey Stone Blvd. It was moved to the present location and now serves as a grand museum and visitors center celebrating the building process and the history leading up to the completion of the Lake Murray dam of the Saluda River located in the central midlands area of South Carolina. Lake Murray serves as a wondrous recreational outlet, a most worthy beauty for boating and watercraft enjoyment and a magnificent fisherman's paradise.
