About Me:

Hello, my name is Robert Fillyaw. I am a loan officer with Bank of America Consumer Real Estate. I have over 8 years with Bank of America and 6 years of lending experience. I have been in this area my entire life and am able to help clients in all 50 states. My focus is on Gainesville and the surrounding areas. Before coming to our Consumer Real Estate division I was a Banking Center Manager for our High Springs office. I have also served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps which included a tour of duty in Iraq.

I am always looking for a good cause to lend my time to. Currently I am involved with the Newberry Chamber of Commerce and I mentor a Newberry High School student. I work to raise money for March of Dimes every year. I enjoy giving back to the community that I live and work in.

I specialize in all forms of residential lending. With over 400 programs available to my clients I have the options that savvy consumers are looking for in this changing housing market. My focus is always on my client and finding the right loan for their specific situation. I love working with first time home buyers...there is nothing like the feeling of helping a customer buy their first home. I also love to help my clients save money with refinances...especially if I can get them out of an ARM loan. I specialize in FHA, VA, SHIP, and Construction loans. I have the ability to lend on all property types including manufactured homes...even single wides! I have the tools to help clients in all situations, coupled with the knowledge and understanding to find the options that best fit their unique situations. I pride myself on finding the solutions other lenders may over look. I always go the extra mile for my customers and work my loan files start to finish. I attend all of my closings and am always available to answer questions.
