I don't know about you but I love to text! And for those of you out there that don't I highly suggest doing so. I'm in my mid 20"s and a lot of my client base is around my age range and I noticed when I would call them or email them they would not respond to me till about a day later because a lot of them don't always check their email address, of when you do call it let's you know that there mail box is full and doesn't allow you to leave a message.
So, I just told my self, "Just text them see if they text back." So I did and with in minutes I found that they respond quickly!!! So I decided to do this, in my signature in my emails I put next to my cell number in ( )
Your can also text me!
It works! Just some food for thought!
How much of a struggle did you have when starting out??? Ok, so I have only been in resale for a little over a month and I have to admit I get discouraged, but I do know that is a part of the business. I came from new home sales and I have to say this is a different ball game. I still want to move forward because I love Real Estate. I guess I just need to here people stories, how many of you struggled and thought to yourself is this the business for me? I have an SOI list and know acouple of Loan officers etc...but I need more than that. Mailer I have been doing, can get a bit pricey but hey gotta do it right? Email blast, placing people into my MLS contact list handing out my cards...So what was your success story? I like to hear underdog stories, please share!!
For those of you that might not know in the state of California if you purchase a Brand new home, never lived in you can get up to $10,000 credit when filling your taxes and the best part is you don' t have to be a first time home buyer! This will take effect March 1, 2009 - March 1, 2010. Well since I can from new home sales I though wow this is great! Not only that but if you are a first time home buyer you also get the up to $8,000 tax credit. So that could me that you will get up to $18,000 back! But there is a catch!!! The state of California only has $100 million for the program. So you have to be one of the first people in line when you file your taxes next year. So there could be a chance that you might not get the $10,000...Risky...What are some peoples thoughts on this?
Happy Valentines day to all! I know that I'm a day early but I probably will not be on AR tommrow. Does anyone have plans with the special someone out there? Well I hope I do, probably not I should have had someone by now, right? But then again it's not too late I sill have a day to go!
For anyone that is working tommorow, which I have one appointment tommorow...If you have an open house I think that it would be a great idea to set up a valentines day theme! You can buy some of those heart shaped candies that taste like peto bismo or some hersey chocolates! Just make sure if they have kids to hand them out before they leave, dont want to get the floor messy now do we?
WHO WHAT HAVE EVER THOUGHT BLOGGING WOULD BE A BIG THING? Not me that's for sure! When I first join AR I didn't know what to do or how to go about it. After awhile after reading peoples blogs it just started giving me great ideas. Ok maybe some of my blogs are not the wonderful, but hey, its a start right?
My broker put blogging into good words...She said it is like a diary, did I spell that right??? But it is for everyone to see it. I guess you can say that I'm hook on this stuff now! I never thought that I would be a blogger but it's fun doing this after awhile! Who was the genius that came up with this concept? Well, I guess am going to have to google he or she right? Awww the internet what would we do without it????
