If you haven’t been to the Houston Ballet’s annual Nutcracker Market yet, you should treat yourself to a shopping extravaganza this weekend!
The Nutcracker Market is being held at Reliant Center. It features over 300 national and international merchants offering unique items for the family and home, including home décor, food, clothing, toys, toiletries, novelties, ornaments, pottery, accessories and much, much more!
There are many booths offering Christmas and holiday décor that will knock your socks off! There’s so much – you can’t see it all in just one trip! I went for three hours and only made it through about one fourth of the vendor booths. You’ll find some really unique, one-of-a-kind gift items that are priced just right. It’s a great time to get started on Christmas gift shopping!
Here’s a tip: wear tennis shoes! Your feet will get tired if you don’t!
Admission is $12 and proceeds from the event benefit the Houston Ballet Foundation, its academy, and scholarship programs.
The Nutcracker Market runs through Sunday, November 13. On Friday, the hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday the market is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
I’m going back this weekend to try to see the rest of the vendors that I didn’t have time to see the first time!
See you there!
