What is happening within you community, layoffs, factory closings? Now there is a question I hope I hear a lot of answers to. I took a drive to my home town in Indiana a week or so ago, and was devestated at what I saw. Factory's that were once healthy employing hundreds of people within this small town were gone, closed and slience filtered through my every being. A sickening feeling came over me. What were all those people doing now that no longer are working there? My heart goes out to those who lost their jobs.

One plant that has never in it's history had a lay off, is doing so for the first time. A friend of mine who has worked at this plant has been there for 30 years was put on the night shift. This is so unreal, but he is thankful for his job.

The downtown is becoming a town where very few people are walking the streets. The shops are closing, or not open on a Saturday morning. It is unreal what is happening.

Now, there is another piece of background I would also like to share with you as well. It's called an F.H.A. loan product. My knowledge of knowing what it takes to purchase a home using an insured F.H.A. loan is of as much importance as any other loan on the market. I have at one point in my career made more F.H.A. and V.A. loans than the conventional type loan products being offered to the clients. This made home-ownership more affordable to the home buyer with little or no cost down-payment to purchase the home of their dreams.
