The Holiday season has officially begun here in Ocean City with the annual kickoff celebration at North side Park! Winterfest of Lights runs from 11/20/08 through 01/01/2008. Visitors for a small fee can take a ride on one of the tram cars throughout the winter wonderland. Attractions include the Twelve Days of Christmas and fairy tale themed displays. There is a heated pavilion with entertainment, hot chocolate stand and Santa's Workshop with Chris Cringle himself! If you looking for another excuse to get a way for the weekend, then here it is. Winter wonderland at the beach!

What a difference a few degrees and no wind can make! it feels like a heat wave here and it is only 45 degrees. Picture perfect morning with clear skies.
