Saturday, May 2, 2009 - 8:30am - 2:00pm - Williamson County Administrative Complex (1320 West Main Street)
Typical items to dispose of include cleaning fluids, pesticides, mercury thermometers and thermostats, swimming pool chemicals, paint thinner and automotive fluids. Also accepted are fluorescent bulbs and electronics, such as televisions, computer monitors, keyboards, computer mouse dvices and computer processing units. Console televisions must be dismantled.

Sullivan Farms, Franklin TN will be having its Annual Easter Egg Hunt, for its residents, on Sunday, March 29th @ 3:00pm. The event will take place at the picnic area near the pool and the kids will divided into age groups. Maybe the Easter bunny will even pay a visit.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be the first of many events that Sullivan Farms will have for the year. Sullivan Farms has a very active HOA with several events per year.

TN Driver's License Renewal
Need to renew your TN driver's license? It's as easy as www.tennessee.gov. I, like so many others I'm sure, found myself with an expired license. My expiration date was on March 1st and on March 9th I had this "OH NO" realization that I was driving on an expired license. I really didn't have time to drive to the driver license station to renew in person, and knew that it was too late to try by regular mail (snail mail). My third option, and favorite, was to go on line. I was just hoping that being past due wouldn't be a problem. To my surprise, you could be up to 5 years expired and still renew online. That was a little alarming, but that's for another post.
Here is a step by step on how to renew online... First, visit Tennessee's web site at: www.tennessee.gov . Second, in the middle of the page, click on Driver Online Services. Third, choose the first link, Renew Your Driver License. Then continue to Next. It is just that easy. You will get a temporary to print from your computer and your new drivers license will be mailed to you.
I was very impressed with the service and easy of Tennessee's online service.

Sullivan Farms saw a slight bounce back in pricing in the 4th quarter of 2008 when compared both to 3rd quarter 2008($117.09 psf) and 4th quarter 2007 ($118.70), however there was a significant drop in number of homes sold during the 4th quarter. Only 3 homes closed in 4th quarter 2008, where 13 closed in 4th quarter 2007 and 14 closed in 3rd quarter 2008. Days on Market have also steadily increased.

Sullivan Farms has seen a steady increase in the average price per square foot, but in 2008 saw their first decline. The days on the market have also increased this year. Numbers for the 3rd quarter of 2008 seemed to fall somewhere between 2005/2006 numbers.
3rd Quarter 2008 had 14 homes sold compared to 18 homes sold in 2007, with a sales price per square foot closer to that of 4th Quarter 2007.

I worked for many years as an interior designer for Gresham Smith and Partners doing both commercial and healthcare design. After having children I went into sales, while staying in the design field and then went on to teach at O'More College. As my life changed, so did I.
