The Pinnacle condos in downtown San Diego score 4.5 stars from the residents living there.

The Pinnacle condos located in downtown San Diego were completed in December 2005 and the residents after living there for over a year were asked to review the building rate it in a dozen categories. The results of the survey put the Pinnacle condos near the top of the ranking for the downtown condo buildings. The Pinnacle condos scored five out of five stars in several categories: Views, Security, Concierge, Pool and Building Maintenance. The Pinnacle residents rated the building low in: Noise (mainly from the trains) and quality of construction.

Pinnacle condo residents boasted about the views, especially the unobstructed views from the higher floors. Residents also like its location and high level of amenities. Residents there like in most buildings wish the developer had made some extra parking spaces for visitors.

The Pinnacle condos are 35 stories tall and located in the Marina District neighborhood in downtown San Diego. There are approximately 200 condos in the building with prices ranging from $500,000 to $5 million. The Pinnacle condos offer 24-hour concierge and security, lap pool, hot tub, media lounge with large screen cinema, entertainment room with billiards, conference room, private guest suite, gym, sauna and steam room. The number of condo units per floor decrease as you goes up the tower to the penthouse which was planned to be two separate units but purchased by one individual and combined.

There are eight units per floor on floors 3-10. Six units per floor on floors 11-20. Five units per floor on floors 21-26. Floors 27-30 has four units. Floors 31 and 32 have three units. Floors 33 & 34 have two units and the top floor (35) is one unit.

The Legend Condos in Downtown San Diego's East Village Neighborhood

The Legend condos are another high quality residential condominium developed by downtowns biggest and best developer, BOSA Development. It seems as if the latest BOSA tower is better than all the rest. This argument can certainly be made for The Legend tower. The legend is considered one of the top 3 unique condos in downtown San Diego.

Its unique for two major reasons, it’s the only residential condominium actually built right inside a major league ballpark, Petco Park. The other unique quality is its seventh floor indoor/outdoor terrace that is simply the best entertainment deck in downtown San Diego. Its great for everything from hosting parties to just going down there to BBQ some ribs, watch TV or (are you ready for this) watching the baseball game that is only about 50 feet away. Yes from this deck you can watch all the baseball games and occasional concerts for free.

The Legend Condos are a single 23 story tower, surrounded by townhomes and some retail space. There are 178 private residences ranging in square footage from 800 – 1,894. Generally speaking, prices range from $500,000 to $2.0 million. Units with views directly into the ball park and or views of the bay will have the highest price tag.

Here is a list of the amenities: Concierge, security guard, entertainment room, lap pool, spa, gym, steam room and sauna. Plus a 3,200 square foot 7th floor terrace with outdoor fireplace lounge and barbecue area, several large TV screens. Next door to "Park at the Park" that is within Petco Park. Park at the Park is the grassy park area behind center field for pets and children to play. It open to the public except during games when its access is limited to ticket holders for the game.

There are 11 condos per floor on floors 2-6, eight on floors 7-18, six on floors 19 & 20 and four condos on the top three floors 21-23. There are 8 townhomes. Views into ballpark start around $800 per square foot.

The Legend Condos are located in the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego. Two blocks from the Historical Gaslamp District and just a few blocks away from the San Diego bay and embarcadero. There are several restaurants and other retail places with in one block of the entrance.
