Well, the election is definitely over, the holidays are over and the new year is here! The media seems to be more positive about the economy and my phone is ringing. Looks like things are looking up for the new year! We are certainly looking forward to be busy again. Please give us a call!

Well, it's official, my license now says Broker.
The classes were attended, the tests studied for, the math was mastered and the tests were passed.
The Broker designation can now be added to my business cards, along with ABR, ASR, GRI, CRS and ReLo Specialist.
I really enjoyed re-visiting the subject material and I really enjoyed the classes, after all, my degree is in education. Whether or not South Carolina becomes an all broker state still remains unknown, at this time. Personally, I would like to see reaching agent status become more difficult. Hopefully, this would weed out a lot of the problems that we have all encountered, whether we are agents, clients or customers.
I would like to see this profession branded with the same respect that doctors and other educated professionals enjoy. What do you think?
If you ask the right questions and shut up and listen your clients will tell you what you need to heard from them. Also, if you are showing houses, for the first time to potential buyers, listen to what they are saying and watch how they are reacting to the houses. If you are perceptive - they will show you exactly what they want. Pay them the attention that they deserve!
