• Play one singles match every two weeks - provides plenty of flexibility for your schedule.
• Matches are setup for you! All you have to do is contact your opponent and find a mutually agreeable time to play.
• Play at least six matches - four in the "seeding" portion of the tournament and two in the "elimination" portion.
• Gift card prizes awarded to the winner, runner-up, consolation winner, and consolation runner up in each division.
• Three men's divisions: 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0
• Four women's divisions: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0
• USTA membership NOT required. Players may self-rate (but no sandbaggers!)
• Cost: $20
• Play begins in late Early to mid-July 2009...as soon as we fill all the slots.

Heritage Green is a lovely community in Cornelius, just 15 minutes from Lake Norman. 

Heritage Green is a newer community that features a community pool, playground, sidewalks, vinyl-sided homes, and a great neighborhood atmosphere.

I recently made a trip to Birkdale Village to T1 Tapas, a new restaurant in the area. I met a cool bartender named Scott who took very good care of me. The theme of the unique restaurant is "eat drink connect".

CNN has even done a news story on this place! Wow! Here is a link to the menu T1 Menu

Scott went over in detail some of the history of the place while there was a "bubbly tasting" going on. They have events going on each week, including a wine tasting every Wednesday. Live music this friday too. Here are some interesting things to know about it:

• It's not a franchise
• It has a couple different owners
• It's a new concept 
• You can order your meal from a touch screen menu
• TV screens and MP3 Plug-ins allow you to play your own videos, tunes, etc. at your table
• The menu selections change bi-monthly and so does the wine selection
• The menu is based on organic and earth selections of foods from local farmer's markets
