Called the "Floral Paradise of Ohio" the township has many hills and is cut by ravines caused by the decent of streams flowing to the Ohio River.

Once a year the township hosts a Chicago-style softball game where the players are men dressed as women. The "Skirt Game" benefits needy families in the township. There is also live music, games, concessions and fireworks offered at the annual event.

Mt. Healthy

The city of Mount Healthy has a unique history. Originally founded in 1817, as the Village of Mount Pleasant, it renamed itself Mount Healthy in 1850, following a cholera epidemic. Many of the original citizens survived the epidemic and attributed the miracle to the fresh air provided by the location of their village.

Today Mount Healthy has a vibrant business district. You can enjoy the many shops in the village on Hamilton Avenue. Some of the shops include antiques, jewelry, gifts and more.
