Cincinnati Fire Museum

Located in a 1907 National Register firehouse at 315 West Court Street, the Cincinnati Fire Museum offers a look at the history of fire fighting in the Queen City. The museum has 200 years of fire fighting history on display. Some of the exhibits include old leather fire buckets, an early 1800's fire drum and, the oldest surviving fire engine in Cincinnati.

The museum also offers interactive computer stations where you can learn about the bomb squad, the jaws of life and chemical spills. Each year, over 14,000 children learn about fire safety from the dedicated docents who offer guided tours to school groups.

Using hands-on interactive displays, visitors can sound a siren, flash lights and my personal favorite, slide down a real fire pole!
