Get ready for a traffic change on highway 160. I reported at the beginning of the month the Tega Cay Wal-Mart will open March 17th. I went to the new Wal-Mart site today and caught the employees (sorry associates) coming back from a lunch break. I asked several associates when will the store open. All associates answered the same, Friday March 7th.
Mad residents have been fighting the Tega Cay, SC city hall to move a dog park that was built near their homes. 14 months later it looked like the city was going to relocate the park. The city found a new site for the dog park and a developer that is willing to pay to move it. So things are going great for the homeowners that want the park moved right? The Tega Cay city council decided Momday to build the dog park in the new lcation but they may not close down the old park. Why? See the rest of the story and a long comment from one of the homeowners near the dog park.
