It’s official we are planning on having are grand opening event on Friday December 12 from 4 - 8pm. More details will follow soon but we have already met with our new neighbors (Accents and Formica Brothers and also Oskur Huber) to coordinate the event together.

This Thanksgiving lets remember how blessed we are. We have food, homes, great friends and wonderful families. Many of our neighbors are without these things this Thanksgiving. Homelessness can happen to anyone and it happens for many reasons. On Saturday all of us at The Haviland Group will be participating in a Turkey Trot walk/run to help the homeless and needy. We are asking our friends and family to make a donation to sponsor us. Money raised will go to help homeless men, women and children at The Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

As I posted previously my wife and I had a great trip to Cape May, NJ on Monday. We went to a new restaurant in Cape May called Panico's Bistro - Brick oven pizza. The restaurant was gorgeous. It was a converted church and beautifully decorated and had great romantic music playing. In the center of the room was a large brick oven.
The food was excellent. We got the goat cheese pizza with asparagus. And we had soup, salad and eggplant and zucchini appetizers. Everything was great. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful.
It was so good I think we may take another trip down just to eat there!

On Monday my wife and I celebrated our anniversary by taking a trip to Cape May, NJ. I found a great bed and breakfast online call the Queen Victoria. http://www.queenvictoria.com/ It was a beautiful bed and breakfast and a great location between the beach and Washington Square shops. We got there and found out that we were given a complementary upgrade to the Crown Jewel.
The room was incredible and actually it was a separate cottage building. It had a living room downstairs with a gas fireplace and flat screen TV with Bose surround sound. It had a mini kitchen stocked with complementary beverages and great bathroom with two person shower. Upstairs was another fireplace, king sized bed, and two person whirlpool tub. The facility was fantastic and we had such a great time we didn't want to leave. So if you're looking for a great getaway try the Queen Victoria. You will not be disappointed.
