Short notice: Mass Transit Forums for Greenwood and Franklin

I truly apologize for the short notice but some how I must have overlooked this one!!

There are two Forums for the planned Mass transit expansion in to Johnson County.

One meeting is at the Greenwood IN Public Library at 7pm on March the 18th 2008 and the other is at the Johnsons County Public Library in Franklin IN at 7pm on March the 20th 2008.

Reason for the Forums is to find out if you the resident might be interested in Mass transit and what your thoughts are. Here is your chance to find out what their possible plans are and what you would like to see what they should do.

Attendance might be high, so go early.

You would like to find out any more info on all of this and possible upcoming meetings here is the CIRTA's Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority website

I just would like to put my two cents in for right now! I have been used to mass transit my entire life until I moved to the US. Here in Central IN you could not get anywhere quick without a car there is nothing but the few bus lines around Indy.

I was so spoiled with being able to use either a bus or a commuter train every 10-15 minutes and I was able to go anywhere with in Europe no matter how small the town was.
