Vienna, Va. is a wonderful place to live, raise your family and enjoy life. December is a busy time for the town. To begin the holiday season this year, one can participate in the Church Street "holiday stroll" on November 30. The street will close to vehicles from 6 to 9. Jane Seeman, the mayor, will light the tree at 6:30 and Santa will arrive to meet and greet guests on the porch of the Freeman House. There will be a petting zoo, bonfires and entertainment by a host of local community organizations. Historic buildings will also be open for touring. The event is sponsored by Historic Vienna Inc., the Vienna town government and local merchants. Call 703-938-5187 or www.historicviennainc.org for more information. Vienna is a suburb of DC with a small, hometown feel....a wonderful place to live!
Just outside the beltway is a wonderful "small town"... Vienna, Va. Even though it is just outside the D.C. area, Vienna feels like a small community with so much to do. Wolf Trap offers wonderful shows throughout the summer, shopping is a treat and after a tired day, stop by a local landmark, the Vienna Inn. Tomorrow night might be a parade, so put out your chairs today to reserve your space, yep, tomorrow night you will be sitting on the first row watching... in the chairs you put out last night! The town closes down part of "Main Street" for the local high school home coming and halloween parades. The average home sells for @$541,293 (2008). Think you might want to live in this great town? I can help.
