Enhancing Customer Relationships With ActiveRain !
As much as ActiveRain has helped my personal day to day success as a Realtor, it has also given value to my clients along the way too.
My ActiveRain blog content consists of everything from Listings, Market Reports, 'HyperLocal Spotlights' on Events and Businesses, Realtor Tips, Homeowner Tips, and even insight to me as a person and the important people in my life.
With all the content that I just mentioned, there is considerable value to my clients for the following reasons:
I often bring my clients into my office conference room at the beginning of our relationship, to chat in person and show them some things on the computer, and ways I can help them through the transaction.
We have a flatscreen TV in there so I can transmit the in-room computer screen content onto that TV, so that husbands and wives aren't crowding round a small computer screen to follow along ...

Maywood Station Features Vintage Candy Containers At Open House November 15th !
The Maywood Station Museum will host an Open House on November 15th from noon to 3pm, featuring a very special exhibit
of Vintage Candy Containers!
The containers, from the collection of Douglas Dezso, mainly made of glass and dating back to the early 1900s through 1950s, will show a variety of different styles including trains, cars, trucks, gas pumps, and others. Dezso is reputed to be one of the foremost authorites of these types of collectible containers, and even authored the book "A Collector's Guide To Candy Containers - Identification & Values".
Any visitors are also welcome to tour the fabulous restored Maywood Station Caboose 24542 with its operating model train layout.
Admission is FREE, donations are welcome.

Halloween Movies screened at Moon Doggie Coffee Roasters in Maywood
Retro coffee cafe "Moon Doggie" on Pleasant Avenue in Maywood, NJ, is hosting a series of Halloween Movies for the season.
The following movies will be shown :
Friday October 30th: "Abbott & Costello Meet The Mummy"
Year: 1955
Showing at 7pm
Then at 8:45, the 1948 version of the same movie by Abbott & Costello will be shown.
Saturday October 31st: The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horrors"
Showing at 7pm.
Seating is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.

This past Saturday - October 24th - started the new program at the Maywood Public Library which provides 'Story Time' for children ages 4 and up.
It's free for all Maywood residents, with stories being told from 11am to 11:45am, and the program will continue from now through mid December 2009.
Bring your little ones along on Saturday mornings and keep them interested in the library and all it has to offer, while hearing some fun and entertaining stories as well !
