Continuing their Summer and Spring tradition, Maywood, NJ held their second "Street Fair" of the year this Summer and it was another big success !
This Fair, however, had a distinct change - an increase in FOOD VENDORS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohhh Yeah, it was a sumptuous sight, block after block, with fabulous foods to choose from as you walked Pleasant Avenue in the heart of town !
Here is a sampling of the incredible variety that was on offer !!!!
... oh and the 'Roasted Corn on the Cob' was deeeelishuss !!!!!
... oh yeahhhh, you read that right below ... "DEEP FRIED OREOS" !!!!!!! - ... WHAT A TREAT !!!!
... and of course the Ice Cream Truck was there :o)
There certainly was a great selection of 'eats', but that wasnt all that was at the Street Fair !

Maywood is a wonderful community, and provides terrific stores and events for its residents.

Simply defined, Psychic Income is "The Great Feeling You Receive When Helping Others" !
As Realtors, many of us get this feeling when we help people achieve their American Dream, but with network groups, it makes you feel good to reciprocate referrals to other members in your group.
I give out many referrals to different members per month from the limousine service, to the computer repair member, to the carpet supplier and many more - and each time I do, it feels great when my client is happy with the service - and thanks me - and then the service provider who I referred appreciates the business I sent him - and thanks me !!!
....it just feels good in those cases to have helped someone else and to have improved their day in my little way !

And it goes deeper than just the quick 30 second elevator speech - because each week 2 members give a 10 minute presentation of something a little more in depth about the service or product they provide, and inevitably everyone learns at least one new thing about that industry that they didnt know before.
For example, who knew that there is an option for contractors who install 'paver patios' to lay down a 4 inch layer of concrete first so that over time the pavers dont 'sag' and become uneven over your patio or driveway !
... I learned that last week at our meeting !
And also, I learned from our Wine Consultant in our group that a Medium-Bodied Red Wine like Pinot Noir or a Chianti is a perfect compliment for Teriyaki Chicken or a Smoked Salmon plate ! ... and that a Light White Wine like a Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, will taste terrific with California Roll Sushi, Veggies and Dip and Mini Quiches !!!!
So Reason #6 for joining a Network Group, is that you become more worldly and educated for free by learning about other industries from fellow members !!!
