I was driving down this country lane the other day and had to just stop and take a picture. What is just around the corner?? Maybe its grandpa and grandma's farm. Maybe is a little country church. We recently visited a friends cabin in Calf Killer TN. WOW what fun it is to sit on a big rock and fish in such a beautiful place! We also took the canoe out and had a blast! TN is such a great place to raise a family. Lots of outdoor activities to enjoy and it is so safe and friendly. I love this state!! Call me and come for a visit. You will sure not be disappointed!

This blog is really a question to me fellow Realtors. When you are out showing houses or land for the day and it comes lunch time........ Do you buy lunch for everyone? I love to stop and a local mom and pop place that is unique to our area and serves great food. I always buy lunch for everyone UNLESS someone else offers to buy of course. lol Is that not pretty standard? I have heard several agents say that they don't normally do that? Isn't that just good business? I mean so you are out a few bucks for lunch. What is that when you consider what you are going to be making on the sale of a home. Doesn't everyone buy lunch for their customers? Lord knows I do like to eat but showing them the friendly little restaurants in town is a great thing to do.

Why does round pizza come in a square box?? Maybe because it had always came that way. Nobody has ever dared to be different or question why. Times like this definitely call for thinking outside the box. I sure do not claim to know the best marketing strategy for our current situation but there has to be a way to be a successful Realtor even in a bad market.Do you ever feel as if you are fighting a loosing battle? There are so many Realtors leaving the business daily. As soon as the market comes back I am sure they will also. Advertising and marketing is so different now than it was even a couple years ago when I started the business. I am not sure what the answer is. I however am sure that I do intend fight to get my listing sold. I will continue to work hard and market my listings in every way possible. I REFUSE to give up on a business that I love so much. I love being able to show others my area and tell them all the wonderful things about living here. I love making new friends and helping people make their dream of owning a home come true. I love taking the task of selling a home off the shoulders of a home owner. Making sure that they are cared for and their home is sold at a fair price.
