Sherman Rogers donates a portion of his proceeds to breast cancer research in hopes of seeing a cure for this disease during his lifetime. Sherman's wife, a survivor of breast cancer, also works hard to support causes that promote breast cancer awareness. She, and her team of 7, will take part in the Michigan Three Day Breast Cancer Walk which will be held on September 26 - 28. Participants will travel over 60 miles over the course of 3 days. The team has set a goal to raise $2,200 each for breast cancer research. In 2006, she was unable to do the walk, due to illness, so Sherman showed his support by painting dumpsters pink and decorating them with pink ribbons.

Dumpster Divers are proud of their ability to provide for themselves and their families, without being forced to beg or steal. There are several different types of dumpster divers; some are actually looking for food! Others are looking for broken or discarded items that can easily be fixed and sold or traded. When the project is complete and the dumpster is being rolled away, make a mental note to be more organized in the future; remember how this huge project took all day. Admire your handiwork for a few minutes to appreciate the nicely organized garage you've been thinking about and looking forward to parking in this winter. Of course, clutter happens, over time, but a clean-up project this large can be kept down to an annual event if you remember to have a place for everything and keep everything in its place.

These barrels contained everything he needed including names, addresses, birth dates and social security numbers.

Massey and his partner were caught and imprisoned in the year 2000. This case led to certain legislative acts forcing corporations and businesses to handle personal information more responsibly. Many use paper shredding services to dispose of paper containing personal and confidential information on their customers.
