Please don't pay money to see foreclosure listings! That is insane, we make it this weeks project to put up a foreclosure only listing site linking from here. We noticed a site today requiring a $9 monthly fee to see listings, pathetic.
If you are giving your email, you are giving too much, again we will get a site up for you, search it, research it and call or email when you want to see a home, we appreciate it!
I have always wondered what a $3.5 million dollar bank owned home looks like, well not really but know we both know!
It looks like 10,825 sq feet of custom home. Theater? Check. Pool/Spa? Check. Pub area? Check. 1.5 acre lot? Check. Ok, but does it have tons of custom detail? Check. Yeah but if I am spending that kind of money I want new....CHECK!

Well know we know! This is the most expensive Foreclosure on the market in Raleigh today. It will be interesting to see the sales price on this one!!!

Foreclosures in Raleigh and Wake County continue to increase ever so slightly. There are currently 109 bank owned foreclosures for sale in the Triangle MLS system. Average Price for a foreclosure listing? $291,642 or $99.97 a square foot.
There are 79 pending foreclosure sales at an average price of $195,165 or $86.95 a square foot. In my opinion this is probably do to the FHA loan limits and the availability of mortgage money. It would also put a FHA 30 year mortgage payment in the $1500-$1600 range for a 2000 plus square foot home, not bad.
With the first time buyer home credit and other stimulus money available it is a decent time to buy in the Raleigh area.
