Today was a interesting day for me as a Real Estate agent, wondering if anyone has had to deal with this yet and how did you handle it...here goes!!!
Have a listing that the trustee sale was postpone in January ....Received the listing 12 days before the trustee sale day marketed it like carzy got an acceptable offer to the lender, home owner got to stay in the house an additional 45 to 60 days without a mortgage payment, working with the seller to find them a good rental for their family (they have a LOTs of pets)...Almost ready to close escrow, need the seller to sign off on their escrow paperwork so we can begin the close process and now the seller wants to talk to his lender to stay in the house 3-6 months longer without payments as they need more time to save to move...
Found them a suitable affordable rental, landlord will accept the kids but not ALL OF THE PETS (9 cats) Seller won't find good homes for the pets, trustee sale is now back on the 3 weeks or less, short sale approval letter expire on the 1st of the month... WHAT'S A REALTOR TO DO??
Anyone have a good idea how to handle this????
