JTHIS-Professional Home Inspection Team is a full service home inspection company serving all of North Eastern and Central Pennsylvania. We are a family owned and operated company with three full time certified home inspectors.

Our service specializes in residential home inspections, as well as commercial inspections. In addition we provide pre-listing inspections, septic inspections, radon testing, well water testing, wood destroying insect, mold inspections and new home construction inspections. All of our inspectors are certified by InterNACHI, the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors, and we abide by their stringent standards of practice and code of ethics.

JTHIS-Professional Home Inspection Team covers an approximate 80-mile radius around Blakeslee Pennsylvania, including most parts of Carbon, Monroe, Pike, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lehigh, Wayne, Schuylkill, and Northampton counties.

Our inspectors have a strong interest in protecting your safety, as well as your investment. Paying very close attention to the condition of every component of the structure from the roof down to the foundation, we inspect the property for any existing or potential damage or safety hazards that may exist, and report on them in a clear simple to read and understand computer generated format.

We encourage all out clients to be present during the inspection. By being present you can ask questions on the spot that will help you to better understand our report. We offer maintenance tips, and share knowledge of the home giving you control, confidence, and peace of mind about your decision and negotiations. Whether you are buying or selling, knowing the condition of the property guarantees a fair, smooth transaction, especially in today's volatile real estate market.

Our advice does not end with the inspection, you are welcome to call us anytime after the inspection. We understand that buying or marketing a property is one of the largest financial and emotional investments that you can make.

Our computer-generated, client-friendly reports are very detailed and thorough. Reports are usually available on-line within 24 hours. For easier reading and greater ease of comprehension we also highlight current and potential problem in the summary section. The report will tell you exactly what to expect in both interior and exterior maintenance before you buy or sell, to avoid unpleasant surprises.

We prefer 24 hour advance notice to schedule an inspection, but we will try our best to accommodate emergency situations.

However we always remind our clients that a Home Inspection is a non-invasive visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. A home inspection will not reveal every concern that exists or ever could exist, but only those material defects observed on the day of the inspection.

I used Jen's services in July 2005 to inspect my first home. I really didn't know what to expect. She arrived with her husband and son. With six sets of eyes examining the house, plus mine and my girlfriend's, I felt pretty confident that we would catch everything. I think we did.
