About Carol

Carol grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pa (Steeler Country), and has become a Southwest Virginia transplant (Roanoke & Smith Mountain Lake) for the past 33 years.

She & her Family arrived in 1976 due to a Company Relo. They had previously resided in the Midwest, North East, South West, and then Roanoke. They determined it was an ideal place to raise a family.

She is the proud parent of a Son, graduate University of Richmond, and a Daughter, graduate of Radford University. Her deceased spouse was a Boilermaker for Purdue University, Linebacker 1960 - 1963.

After 22 years of marriage and a grown family, she graduated Magna cum Laude and became a Software Developer in IT which spanned a career of 15 years. A corporate downsize in 2002 redirected her in the field of Real Estate where she continues to apply her business & management experience and staying the course until the market returns.

She loves houses so much that she commissions home portraits in water color as a part time business, and also creates them as house warming gifts to her clients.

Her passions include Gardening, Animals, Knitting, the Outdoors, and the Lake. She loves the adventure of Sailing and Snow Skiing; loves and anticpates their distinct seasons.

She has an "artistic" eye, and has the ability to re-work and/or re-organize your home to give it that appealing first impression when placing it on the market.
