I know the Central Ohio area well. I drove around for years as a Loan Officer and when I became a Realtor, I used my past clients and my contacts to help buyers find homes and get a great mortgage. I know the past Real Estate market has challenged some buyers and sellers. This will not last forever. However, you must take actions today to be certain that when the housing market improves, you are not selling your home so you can get out of real estate and into an Apartment complex. This is the best time to buy a Home! Why? Because you may make less or even lose a little on your current home, but the next home you buy will stand to gain far more in value than your previous home did because you are starting at the bottom of the housing market. "Buy low, Sell high...." This is not only common sense, it is an opportunity that is coming full circle and the main reason why most of the public fails to take advantage of these opportunities is FEAR! If the stock market crashed, people would be afraid of it and wait till it was up agian; they would wait until the opportunity was gone before they started to reinvest. The housing market is the same way. The public purchases when the prices are up and panics into selling when they are down. Now is the time to do what the professional investors do. Now is the thyme to buy!
