Max Kim is CEO and principal shareholder of MetroPointe Group, Inc., a conglomerate of Commercial, Residential
and Investment real estate divisions, along with Residential Lending, with influence both nationally and
internationally. MetroPointe focuses on locating, identifying and qualifying real estate opportunities that ultimately
benefit its family of owner-occupied homebuyers, financial institutions, partners, investors and vendors. MetroPointe
was founded and built on the passion of a small group of enthusiastic entrepreneurs dedicated to changing the
residential and commercial real estate landscape in the United States, especially in underserved and hard-hit
communities. Its principals have a long history of providing real estate services and residential lending directly to
these demographics.
After graduating from the University of California, Irvine, Kim joined Northwestern Mutual as a Senior Financial
Advisor. Four years later, Max transitioned into the real estate industry by co-founding Silverstone Holdings, LLC, a
real estate investment company specializing in multi-family investments in growing real estate markets. By focusing
on cities trending upward in growth and development, Silverstone uncovered opportunities that maximized yield and
minimized capital risk. While serving as President, Kim led the creation and implementation of all sales and marketing
strategies.
In 2004, Kim founded Metro Pointe Premier Realty Inc., an independent brokerage, where he managed more than
220 residential and commercial sales agents, leasing, and property management. As CEO, Kim was responsible for
overseeing all aspects of the business, although his primary focus was on the analysis of real estate trends and
housing demands throughout the United States with an eye on timely acquisition. With a strong knowledge of both
cash and accrual accounting systems, Kim was able to create and manage multi-fund budgets ranging from $5
million to $20 million. Max has experience in all aspects of financial forecasting, resource allocation and fund
management and he has participated in raising over $10 million in venture capital to finance various start-ups and
real estate joint ventures.
Max provides his clients with superior guidance during critical transitions and understands the importance of
forecasting/budgeting while implementing effective management systems. He has years of experience in renovation
and portfolio management, investor and broker relations, acquisitions and dispositions, and finance/treasury matters.
His vast knowledge in all aspects of residential/commercial real estate and investments combined with his local
market knowledge give MetroPointe Group, Inc. its firm foundation.
Max holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University California, Irvine. Max is a Southern California native and
lives with his wife Cindy and their two sons in Corona, California
