" Smell to Sell" and "How to cook Crabs"
Don't Cook Crabs inside when you are trying to sell your home. Go outside or wait until buyers leave. They may be hungry but they don't want to smell it. Don't get me wrong, but it is not a soothing and inviting environment. Look how violent the crabs get you try to pick them up and more so when you go to load them in the big steamer!
How NOT to cook Maryland Blue Crabs!
If you are thinking about moving to Southern Maryland this is the most important thing you should know. "How To Cook Crabs". A Friend from childhood and Real Estate Broker "Curtis Realty" sent this today and it is funny. So, if you move to out great region please give me a call and I will explain how to cook "The Maryland Blue Crab."
So enjoy this video! Bring on The Crab Pots! Cooking Crabs For The First Time (If someone knows a good way to post a video from Youtube, other than a link, I'm tierd of looking) Thanks - Monique
Make a First Impression With SMELL
I was showing a home recently and upon entering the master-bed, I was horrified of the smell. I was afraid to continue . My clients took two steps in the room and basically ran from the home. It was a litter box that had not been cleaned out in quite a while. I would think this would be common sense, but I guess you never know. So, here are a few, I can't assume, obvious items related to smell, that I recommend you do. Scent has a power of it's own. Good and Bad!
Take out the trash
Vinegar can be used in many ways; wash stinky shoes/sneakers; clean floors, counter tops and bathrooms. (Clorox -my personal favorite, is great for toilets. Just spray and walk away.
Keep your beds and linens fresh, this smell will keep your rooms fresh too!
Put fresh flower out. Smelly ones. Gardenia's are a good choice!
Musty basement? Put a humidifier in.
Citrus has a clean fresh scent. Many diffusers & oils are available. Don't over do it.
Vanilla candle's do smell like cookie's baking and much less work.
