We are approaching National Groundhog Day February 2nd. Any predictions on what kind of weather we are going to have in our area?
We have an exciting week here in Eugene/Springfield! I have listed a few fun events in town. I also have an open house this weekend at 2664 Chad Drive, Eugene Saturday from 10am to 12pm, plus 3153 Zinnia in Eugene on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. I live with my husband Steve in the Santa Clara area of Eugene. We moved here to beautiful Lane County, Oregon in 2001, to be with our children and grandchildren. We are both active in our church where I work with two youth groups.
Before working in Real Estate, I worked in public education as the assistant to the Principal of a high school in Southern California, and then as Office Manager at the French Immersion school in Eugene.
I have always been interested in Real Estate, and the beauty of Oregon convinced me to finally obtain my license and jump right into the real estate business. Since then I have helped many people buy or sell their property in Eugene, Springfield, and outlying areas of Lane County and neighboring counties.
My deep need to provide the best representation for my clients has motivated me to obtain continuing education and multiple designations (see below). I am also a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), The Oregon Association of Realtors (OAR), the Eugene Association of Realtors (EAR), Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS), and the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR).
I am a high energy people person with a passion for real estate, and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. I have a drive to be on top of every listing and transaction, make sure things are done on time, and give my clients my undivided attention!
ABR - Accredited Buyer's Representative: The Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) requires intensive training and standards before awarding the ABR designation to real estate agents who work with homebuyers.
ASR - Accredited Seller Representative: The Accredited Seller Agency Council awards the ASR designation to listing agents who pass a written exam after twelve hours of detailed instruction, show certification of five closed transactions, and provide three testimonials from sellers.
CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert: A Certified Distressed Property Expert® is a real estate professional with specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry, and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. Through comprehensive training from the Distressed Property Institute and from experience, CDPEs are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today's market, specifically short sales.
CSP - Certified Short Sale Professional: Recipients of the CSP designation learn how to facilitate a short sale transaction from beginning to end. They recognize the impact that a short sale can have on the sale of a home and have been prepared to provide that value added service for their clients.
GRI - Graduate Realtor Institute: REALTORS® with the GRI designation from the National Association of Realtors are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients.
SFR - Short Sales and Foreclosures Certification Program: Realtors must complete a one-day education program as well as three one-hour Webinars before earning the SFR designation from the National Association of Realtors.
