Don't miss the Roswell Recreation and Park Hayride!
It will be held Friday 11/19/2010 starting at six PM. You ride around Roswell Area Park, have a camp fire, hot chocolate and roast marshmallows. The ride starts at the Lake Shelter behind the Visual Arts Building. You must register by calling 770-641-3760. All ages are welcome and kids under 1 ride free. 
Roswell GA broke ground on the Swaybranch connector on August 20Th. It will connect Market Place and Swaybranch. It will parallel and be an alternative to Holcomb Bridge Road from Grimes Bridge Road east and west to Warsaw Road. There will be a three way intersection, water line improvement and sidewalks. It was design in house and funded by block grants. It is expected to be completed in 120 days. Market Place is the road south of Provino 's and Anna Lee's restaurants and will go all the way to Olive Garden. Sort if a new eatery row.
It's not too early to register for the Historic Roswell 5k run.
It will proceed the 60 th annual Roswell Youth Day Parade on October 9, 2010. The course is 'point-to-point' and runs along Canton St. turning left on Woodstock Rd., then entering Roswell Area Park where it shifts onto the trail, finishing at the football field. Flat course w/ 2 short hills; very scenic. The start will be at the Roswell United Methodist Church 814 Mimosa Blvd Roswell.
There will be awards to Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters male/female; top 3 M/F in 15 age groups ranging from under 10 to over 75. All participants receive a Long-sleeved technical t-shirt.
There will also be drawings for door prizes and you must be present to win. Free food for all race participants! THIS IS A RUN & SEE GEORGIA GRAND PRIX EVENT!
Fees $20; race day $25. under 15 yr., $17 & $20
