This two hour meeting has been put together to introduce new members to investing. We have a core group of 9 women who have worked together for over 10 years to learn and enjoy the world of investments. We have this every month at a location in the Colfax area for two hours.

This month it is at the library with our laptop's. We share what sites we use, how to use the information on making stock purchases with the Better Investing information process. Neighborhood Center of the Arts begins this year’s exhibition/sale schedule with it’s first show of the year at South Pine Café in Auburn.
The show begins January 15th through February 28. A presentation of art created by developmentally disabled adults includes a bird series, abstract art, figurative pieces and a collection of unique original paintings.

Spencer McClay’s gorgeous colorful wall hangings will be a welcome addition not to be missed.

Call today for your reservations to our upcoming Annual Friends of the Library Dinner at the Library on Sunday, January 31. 5:00 pm silent auction, 6:30 pm dinner.

This year's theme is "Food for Thought" and will again feature appetizers before the dinner, giving you time to bid on our Silent Auction, which is returning after a few years' absence. Latitudes also returns featuring 3 new entrees this year. When you call for reservations, you will be given the list of choices for your dinner. And, of course, fabulous wines will be sold throughout the evening.

The cost of the dinner is $35.00 per person, wine is $5.00 a glass, $20.00 for a bottle.

Hard 90 is a non-profit, youth baseball program founded in December, 2005. The mission of the program is to teach life skills to young players through the game of baseball. Our program emphasizes the importance of hard work, accountability, responsibility, dedication and teamwork in reaching individual and group goals.

Hard 90 offers personalized, private instruction in all aspects of the game of baseball, as well as a structured, year-round group workout program, weekly camps, clinics and competitive tournament teams. We also sponsor underprivileged kids for our academy.

Colfax has started a wonderful event so our young budding stars and starlets can practice their craft in front of the loving environment of a small town.
