It's been a few days since I have shared some funnies with you. So start the week out with a laugh...we all need that don't we? :)

Today is Constitution Day - yeah, imagine that! We have a day to celebrate one of the greatest documents ever penned by man. Here is the Constitution Day website what has a ton of great information about the Constitution on it.

Just for fun, I'm going to QUIZ you on the Constitution. (Naturally you can find all of the answers at the website.)

Okay, so last week I told you all about SpotMixer.com and then I decided to try it for myself to see what I could do with it. For the most part it is pretty easy to use, although I did find having a lot of choices was a little bit overwhelming.

After I made my company promo, I decided to make a promo for my friend Janet Parshall for her nationally syndicated talk show Janet Parshall's America. It took me a few hours to put this together, but when I went to download the video, I found that SpotMixer wanted $79.00 for me to download it! I was a little shocked to say the least. I figured they had to charge something for a video, but since it wasn't clear (to me anyway) how much it was going to cost, I opted out and decided to not buy it.

The other option they gave was that for one month they would host the video on their site and on You Tube. Then each month afterwards, it would cost $20 a month for them to do that if you wanted them to do that. Personally, I think it's a rip off. And as sad as I am to say this, my hard work is going to be deleted after a month because why would anyone pay SpotMixer to host a video 20.00 a month, when you can host it yourself completely free at You Tube with you own account. I think it's a bad business model.

The other costs are pretty reasonable if you want to use SpotMixer to produce a piece for television and you don't have a large budget. But also what you need to know is that a lot of what SpotMixer offers you can find in Mac software. The way they set it up is just easier to use.

So, you've been warned :)

By the way, you can make your first video for free. So do that, but make it good!
