As a Real Estate agent you show homes that need some TLC and nicely suggest the easy fixes...

But really, after 5 or 6 of those comments the buyers eyes start to glaze over and now they're wondering, "do I have time for all those fixes?"

Stage Two Sell has staged homes in PA and NY for agents and sellers to get the home into updated condition. We do the fixes, big and small and stage with furniture before the buyers walk through. This Staged home in Corning NY is move in ready!
Contact a Home Stager in your area and find out how you can work together to present the best product for your buyers and sellers. It's a win- win.
Today Stage Two Sell LLC contunued working on a home for sale that has some really dated finishes. After painting out the 2 bathrooms, (including tub!) replacing vanities, lights and a mirror we will start on the kitchen wall paper tomorrow.
This paper has a slight texture, but we're planning on priming and painting right over it. Then the table and two chairs will be replaced with a smaller bistro table and two stools. After that we're painting the counter top. After photos to follow.
Here is the kitchen wall before. Check back for the after photo.

Don't hesitate to get the painting done before you sell! Buyers want those jobs done and will usually buy the house w/o the DIY projects.
As a Realtor, do you use a book or a laptop to present your marketing package to prospective clients? Which ever you use, there's one page to show your prospective clients that will help them better prepare their property for sale and give you a better product to market.
As a professional home stager I work closely with sellers and spend a great deal of time helping them prepare their properties for sale. The real estate agents are happy to have me address these condition issues and I know they like to show the clean, clutter free and improved staged home. I've always provide before and after photos for the agents, but today when a Keller Williams agent in Horseheads NY asked for a simple one pager with the before and after photos, the "ahh ha" bell rang loud and clear.
What she needs is a single page with the photos of the home that she had listed with the before and afters right there. She can slip this into her portfolio book. Pictures speak volumes. Do you have a quick way to show your clients VISUALLY the difference proper staging can make?

I'll be sending a ready page to this agent tomorrow.
