About Us:

Jan is a Certified ReDesign & Staging Specialist and a member of the Canadian ReDesigners Association.She has a background in art having taken and taught many courses in art, colour & design as a fabric artist.She is a member of the Nanaimo Womens Business Network and the Central Island Home Stagers Association. She was trained in 2004 through The Canadian ReDesigner & Home Stagers Association. She continues to be a member of this active national association.In 2007 she joined with Cindy Garland-Chang of Seabreeze Interiors to create CoOperative Design where they focus on Home Staging and Interior ReDesign. They work with home owners, renters, realtors, developers and builders throughout beautiful central Vancouver Island. CoOperative Design stands out for their professional training, beautiful results, happy clients and working as two designers for the usual cost of one!

We specialize in working with Realtors, Developers, Renovators and Builders. There is a real need for these people to have help with the sale of empty houses and condos. The reason for this is that it is more difficult to sell an empty living space to the buying public.It is surprisingly difficult for the average person to be able to picture their things in a space that is empty. This has to do with estimating proportion and scale of rooms in an empty home compared to the place they will be leaving. An empty space feels cold and less inviting and this is because your eye is drawn to all the hard surfaces in an empty space Walls, windows and floors covered in wood, tile or vinyl products are all hard.We are also happy to help families who are living in the home they are putting on the market and trying to sell quickly.
