About Me:

I moved to Redding in 1980 and went to school here. I graduated in 1986 and married my high school sweetheart. We are both in the real estate field as a team. We have two wonderful children, an 11 year old and 3 year old and consider it our greatest achievement in life. We live in the town of Shasta just a few minutes from Redding in a home built around 1853. Redding is our hometown and we are tied to the history as well as the growth.

When I'm representing you as a seller my main goals are to sell your home as fast as possible, for the best price possible. I try to balance these two goals to meet each person's needs; for example, some clients may need a fast sale and be willing to settle for a lower price, while others are content to wait for the best offer. I try hard to get the best results possible for each client.

I am committed to being honest and realistic with my clients. I firmly believe that every action will cause a reaction so even the littlest thing and most minor detail will help me sell your home. I work like a hummingbird and am thorough & tenacious when I want to get a job done. I love my job and it shows, I care about people and making them happy and I want to do a good job in anything that is presented to me. Areas of Expertise

If I where to say I have one area of expertise it would be historic homes. And I wouldn't exactly say I'm an expert, but rather I make it my hobby to travel through all the new homes on the market if they are 100 years or older, especially those that are built in the 1800's. There are so many features that I notice and love. I often wonder, "who has lived here", "how many people traveled up these steps" or "what could be buried on this lot or what is under this home". I have a hard time not purchasing those poor houses that are sitting vacant...well maybe someday! In the town of Shasta (Old Shasta) one of my clients bought a home built in the 1860's, quit a lovely home with exceptional curb appeal and a wrap around porch. During an inspection I crawled under the house with the inspector so I could get a peek at the structure (old wood & nails, etc.). As we're down there kicking up the dust I realized there was mounds of old pottery, china, metal from ages ago. I pulled out a big pile of it and gave it to my buyer, told him there may be a gold mine under that house! These are stories that I love to hear and share, do you have any? Many people I meet, especially the "old timers" have wonderful stories and I eat it up, as they will be gone someday. I in turn, pass those tidbits of information onto my children. It works too because they in turn, pass it on to their friends and teachers!

Of course, I have access to the entire Shasta County MLS (www.northstateagent.com) and help my clients buy and sell homes of any kind (new construction, resale, vintage homes, mobiles and land). I also have a commercial lot in the Oasis Specific Project. Some of my clients are investors just looking for a "good deal". I love the town of Shasta, about 2 miles from Redding on HWY 299 West. It is a cozy little town close to Whiskeytown Lake and feels like country, yet only minutes to Redding.

I love to help the first time home-buyers, as I have an easy way of explaining the process in simple terms. For the most part my buyers are not nervous and they know exactly what is happening through-out the entire process and what to expect.

Being a sellers agent is pretty great too. I really go the extra mile when I list a property. I believe every little effort in selling your home counts, even as small as walking the neighborhood to distribute flyer's. Each time I make that effort you will know I'm trying to sell your home and I care. Being a member of Coldwell Banker C&C Properties allows me to utilize excellent marketing tools, ie., 24-hour TV listings, Mt. Shasta Mall Kiosk, InfoNow System. Being the biggest company in Shasta County has it's benefits.
