Hawaiian resident: locally born or native born citizen of Hawaii; many local merchants offer what's known as a kama`aina rate (discounted rate for locals) For instance, you might see a Kama'aina rate at local golf courses, for goods in a store at a restaurant or island activities.
A driver's license is usually asked to be shown to get the rates. This is one reason why many people to relocate to Hawaii waste no time in getting a Hawaii driver's license.
The most important yet is not forget to ask about the Kamaaina rate before you order or at the time of payment!

2 fires in one week in South Maui while the Southern states are under catastrophic water avalanches.
Those are very sad events...
4 acre burn off Kenolio Estates in North Kihei and over an other 150 acre near the Maui Meadows.
FYI it took me one and half our to go from North kihei to Wailea. it is usually a 7 minutes trip at most :)

The island that we can see far away behind Maui is the Island of Lanai.

I was raised on the beaches of Normandy.
It is indeed a region rich in history. Ironically, one of the first things that I was taught about America was WW2 debarquements and the memorable D_DAY. The allies libarated us and this is the reason why French continued to be my native language.
My grand-parents were the living witnesses of this incredible historical event and every senior citizen had their own story to share. At a very young age I became passionate about History and America. I finished my education with a master in history and a flight ticket to America.
I began my real estate career in the resort community of Key Biscayne Florida in 1998.In 2000 we moved to Los Angeles and for the next 6 years I was a Top Sale Agent in Beverly Hills selling to the entertainment industry.
I moved with my 7 Years old son Eliot on Maui in 2006, my main goal has been to create a healthy and safe environment for him.
At such a young age he already has a beautiful inspiring story to share. He is a child cancer survivor! Diagnosed at 22 months old with a severe brain and spinal cord cancer he made it through and
is now in perfect health and enjoying Paradise with me. He is very well integrated to the local culture and community.
We are so appreciative of being able to live here in Paradise, in the presence of the mountains, oceans and 
nature. My ancestors are native Polynesian from Tahiti, it must be the reason why it feel so good to live on Maui and I am thrilled each time I can be the gate opener and show the way to this ultimate dream to my friends and clients!
Living here and doing what I love the best, feels like I received a treat from heaven!
I also been very blessed at my work place by joining the first worldwide leading brand in real-Estate such as Century 21.
I recently have been ask by the Pacific Rim Chamber of Commerce to be the director to run the Real-Estate section for Hawaii. In this venture I am sharing and promoting our beautiful islands in Asia and South pacific.

I attended advanced training and passed an exams dedicated to the "Agency Representation of Buyer".
