I'll make it short and sweet. Over the past two months I've had several encounters with hostile brokers. It seems the current market conditions are not only bringing down house values and stock prices but also basic broker to broker respect and common decency. How about taking a step back and realizing that we are all trying to accomplish the same goal of helping buyers and sellers. The next time a broker calls for information on a property let us all try to remember we are connected in achieving the same end result.

Oh and when I call another broker I really don't care about how long you have been in the business, how many closings you had last month or what sales club you're in. Chances are good that with all the people leaving the business that the person on the other end of the line calling you has possibly been doing this longer and closed more transactions than you so building yourself up is wasted time and effort. Save it for your clients. All I want is my questions answered.

Be nice and helpful or you may end up losing a sale for nothing less than being a jerk.

Students show drastic improvement at Challenge to Excellence Charter School in Parker.

Another Parker school shows why Douglas County Colorado is serious about education. The charter school Challenge to Excellence located on Pine Drive off Jordan Road in Parker Colorado showed amazing improvement in reading and math.

Receiving the "School of Distinction" certificate from the Colorado state board of education is no small achievement. Only nine schools in the state received this award. Challenge to Excellence Charter School showed dramatic improvement in CSAP (Colorado Student Assessment Scores) scores. the CSAP is designed to show how Colorado kids are performing and whether they are meeting or beating the academic standards set for their grade.


  • READING- Fifth graders scored 90% or better proficiency.
  • MATH- Fifth graders scored 75% or better proficiency.
  • MATH- Fourth graders scored 86% proficiency or better.
  • MATH Third graders scored 81% proficiency with 26% of them scoring ADVANCED.
