My name is Steve Volkers and I work with Keller Williams Realty to help individuals buy and sell homes in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the surrounding area.

I strongly believe that knowledge is power. As a Realtor, my number one goal is to help counsel and teach my clients about the process of selling and buying a home in the Grand Rapids area

With unique internet marketing tools, I am able to get homes in front of more people in Grand Rapids than the average Realtor.

It's no longer the age or a market that we can put a home on the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors (GRAR) Multiple Listings Service (MLS) and pray that it will sell.

My Passion:

I love to help other people.

I get a rush out of helping others to gain, grow and enrich their lives and to know that I was a small part of that.

Some of my other passions are golf, tennis and hanging out at our cottage. I enjoy reading self help books and talking to people about their day to day lives.

My Real Estate Thinking:

I see myself more as a Real Estate Counselor then an Agent. There is so many times people get over their heads in real estate and it's because someone along the way didn't take the time to counsel them properly. Please, if you are looking for a home, ask as many questions upfront so you can go forward with the power of knowledge.

My Designations:

GRI stands for Graduate REALTORS Institute. The GRI designation acknowledges REALTORS who have completed a comprehensive education program that provides practical real estate training. This program is above and beyond the education required to earn a real estate license.

A real estate agent is a REALTOR when he or she becomes a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS, The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
