Jina St James

Do you remember me?

I saw this and it made me realize we have easily forgotten who is fighting for our rights. Whether you agree with the war or not. You would agree that these are the people who let our freedom stand or are completely volunteered. I have to say I have respect for those who want to protect our freedom. I will keep all those in the military in my prayers.

Can't wait...It is coming in August 8th

You got to see this. It is an awesome event with tons of family values for those of us who still believe in our christian ways. It is the one event you can take your kids and not have to worry about them hearing something that could cause problems down the road..can't wait

Places to visit in Colorado and stay in budget

Hey Everyone,

So I decided to write about my experience on Tuesday. My husband decided we should go out and do some things as a Family. But like most families we are on a tight budget. We decide to head down to Manitou Springs and visit the Miramont castle. We got in as a family of 4 for under $20. I can tell you it was a lot of fun and if you like History or even just old historic buildings. This one is neat. We got some pics with some crazy things in the background(considered a haunted location). Overall the kids had a blast!

Later that night we wnt and saw the Disney Movie UP. We were able to get in because we had some Rain check tickets. The movie was so cute and adorable. Great animation and just an overall fun movie to watch with the family.

On Wednesday, we went with my parents to the Rock Ledge Ranch. (www.rockledgeranch.com) This was a blast, again some history to learn from. You get to start out in the american Indian era and learn how they made thier tepee's and fire. Then you progress on a trail through time and see the different eras of time of cabins that turned into homes. Quite intresting especially now considering I work for a home builder. I think the most intresting fact that I learn about was how the doorways were visual cues for where guest could go. If the doorway was shorter, it meant private and you were not allowed to enter without being invited along with color cues. Servants quarters were blueish gray color paint. Very Strange era but then agian it was just that time. Imagine building your home and having to know the height of the doorway before you even begin to decorate. A lot of rules back then, I would of failed miserably. Haha. Here is the admission prices.

Admission Adults: $6 Seniors (55+): $4 Students (Ages 13-18): $4 Youth (Ages 6-12): $2 Under Age 6 is Free

After that we went to Garden of the Gods. (www.gardenofthegods.com) I have been there 4 times now and each time I return I fall more in love with the location. The beauty of the rock formations just take your breath away and you are never bored. The girls loved climbing on the rocks (where you were permitted of course) and taking pictures. The wildlife is amazig to watch. We had rabbits and squirels just pose for you while you took pictues. It was just a blast and a lot of fun. Each day that passes I fall more in Love with Colorado!

Pictures coming soon.

Def Leppard Contest that involves my family

Well my sister in law wants to go to a Def Leppard contest. She loves them or should I say she is in love with them. So we got our kids together and drag them off the couch, computer, or wii to put together this video. Enjoy and hopefully she wins. Enjoy

What to write about. Sims 3 maybe

I know I need to write about something of great value that will bring an ah ha moment but this is where I come up blank. I have type and re-type to my heart's content and have come to a complete blank. There is nothing worse than starting at a blank page and it is staring back at you...like come on, write something already. So am I..about writing about nothing....still waiting for something crazy thing to pop in my head. Oh wait, i got it. SIMS 3

I finally a couple days ago did the deed and purchased Sims 3. I started to play it and found myself fustrated because my computer was taking forever to load the graphics yet it was meant to be a graphic computer. So today I will be seeing where my computer is lacking and get that going. I did get to create a Sim. It is much more detail than before so it is a really neat at getting the looks right on. A little unerving actually. But overall it looks like fun and will be neat once I get to really playing it. Soon...k better blog in a couple days. I promise!
