Last week was the Grand Opening of the new 24 hour Super Sport in Centennial, Colorado. I was able to get a sneak peek of the club the day before because I decided to torture myself through a 2 hour kick boxing class. I took a few pictures that I would like to share with you. I am little perturbed though because I have been a 24 hour fitness member for years and because this is a Super Sport there is an additional $10.00 per month surcharge which I am not totally convinced yet If I want to pay that. Is it worth a couple of new machines and a juice bar??? The club is beautiful though, but pretty much seem to have the same equipment as the regular sports. There are 2 swimming pools instead of the usual only 1 pool, there are racquet ball courts which the sports do not have and indoor running track. The kids club was also quite nice and the locker rooms reminded me of a spa. I am excited for the new Sunflower mart to open next door though.

I have been at this restaurant numerous times and I love the patio. If you can make it there on a nice day, not too hot with a nice breeze, It is best enjoyed with you friends or a girls night out for chips and dip ad of course a pitcher of margaritas. You will enjoy the views and the small town atmosphere from the patio. The food is a B, a great local hangout.

My Husband and I celebrated our first anniversary on August 30th. We went to Gabriel's to celebrate, a place where Aaron took me for one of our first dates. We were most impressed with the service. The service was first class all the way. The ambiance is amazing, you can't get more romantic than the charm of a Victorian home with history of several generations coming here and celebrating their anniversary's. My husband and I was reminiscing of all the couples who were there before us.

All Dinners Are Served In Four Courses; Starting With a Special Antipasto, Zuppa, Insalata, and the Entree of your choice, featuring selections of beef, lobster, poultry, shrimp, lamb, veal, chicken, seafood and vegetarian, along with a daily specialty entree.

Gabriel's resides in the architecturally noteworthy Manhart Manor, which, told by Mr. Manhart to Matthew and Jan Bundy, was constructed in 1889. The building's original purpose was to house the distinguished Manhart family who ran the local mercantile business. George and Bertha Manhart, along with their thirteen children, lived in this notable Victorian home of Sedalia during the store's operation.
In 1983, the residence at 5450 Manhart St. (State Highway 67) was transformed from a merchant's home into an elegant dining establishment. While maintaining its historical appearance, the building was augmented with several additional rooms. In August 1985, the Manhart Manor was opened to the public as Gabriel's Northern Italian Restaurant and remains a focal point of Sedalia to this day.

Aaron and I, before it all goes downhill. :) ( at least that what I hear after the first year, but I don't believe it!)
