If you follow my posts.. you know that I am a fan of finding fun, free things to do for my family...

The Ghosts of Fredericksburg Tours, are presented by author Mark Nesbitt, who is founded the the "Ghosts of Gettysburg" tours.

Fredericksburg is rich in history....with pre colonial past. In the civil war 4 major battles were fought here, where there were over 100,000 calualties..... that's a lot of spirits walking around..if you are into that sort of thing :) Along with the tour...you get a sense of the history of Fredericksburg..It is an 80 minute tour through the historic town, costumed guide tell ghostly tales.. :)

Riverside Theater and Conference Facility is located in Fredericksburg, VA. As in it's name is its a restaurant and a conference center....with a twist..it's a Dinner Theater!

I enjoy looking around and reporting on interesting forms of entertainment and this is a great find.

They are currently running "Evita" the broadway show.

Old Town Fredericksburg is full of small shops and restaurants, it is a charming place to spend an afternoon dining, and enjoying the architecture of some of the older buildings.

The town sponsors "First Friday" which is a celebration of the arts. There will be new exhibits opening in the down town galleries throughout the day. For more information go to http://www.fredart.org/

Music on Main Street is a New Years Eve event, that is family friendly, alcohol free! The event will be held at 122 E. Main Street in Orange, Virginia. The admission is only $5.00 per person.

First Night: Fredericksburg, Virginia

Before every new years, I try to search out the best and newest event to attend on new years eve.. So, I thought I'd share with my local AR friends some of the events for this years. First Night in Fredericksburg, will be held in downtown Fredericksburg.

A stage will be set up for performances and activities throughout the evening. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and at 12:00 a.m. This is a great way for the entire family to enjoy a safe, family freindly event.... Enjoy
