I've got a couple of quick videos for you today from the Forbes Video Network. The first one has Johan Norberg suggesting an obsession with home ownership as a contributing factor to the current housing crisis in America. Many were deceived into believing they had the ability to sustain a mortgage. In the second video (see the post below this one) billionaire Richard LeFrak speaks about the economy and how his company is managing the mortgage crisis by investing in oil and gas. Both are interesting and worth your while.

Have you ever written somebody off? I'm talking about that person in your life or past that blew it or failed you or didn't come through when you really needed them to or didn't live up to expectations, etc.~and now just the mention of their name gets you thinking, "Oh yeah, that loser." And we run into them all the time. People who other people have written off. People who~they're a "loser" and they know it and they can't seem to forget it or shake the feeling because others, quite frankly, have refused to let it go. The bottom line about relationships is people are gonna mess up (except us?). The solution isn't writing them off. I'm not talking about bucking up, playing like you weren't hurt or stuffing your feelings. But then again maybe I am just a little. And what might things be like if we chose to write people in instead?

There are some things in life you just like to hear. If you're a passenger on a plane, you like hear, "We've landed safely." If you're a woman in labor, you like to hear, "It's a boy (or girl)." If you're a baseball fan on the north-side of Chicago, you like to hear, "Cubs win! Cubs win!" And if you're a real estate professional, there are a number of things you like to hear, too. Right? The following list is a compilation of input from a number of Sugar Pine Realty associates and administration. See if you agree with:
28 Things a Realtor Likes to Hear... (What might you add to the list?)
