It's not too late to make the Gibson Jazz & Blues Festival
Two stage, no waiting
There are just a few hours left to enjoy this year's festival. Today from 12:00 to 7:00 will be the last day. I went last night and it was free fun, no charge for parking, no charge for music. They even had free wine tasting. So if you have nothing to this afternoon, I'm sure you will have a great time. And in these times, the price is right.

The city of Glendale's 26th Annual Gibson Jazz & Blues Festival will be featured in Historic Downtown Glendale April 4-5. The event will run noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 5. Admission and parking are free. Parking is located throughout the downtown area, including handicapped parking. Historic Downtown Glendale is located at 58th and Glendale avenues. The festival will also feature an eclectic mix of artisans representing a myriad of art forms. The city of Glendale's Gibson Jazz & Blues Festival is not just about music, as the event will also feature craft artisans, and delicious food and beverages, including wine tasting by Kokopelli Winery.
Restoring an old car takes both time and money. But, I bet you, most classic car collectors will tell you it's worth it. These cars mean a lot to them not only for how they look now, but for the memories they help preserve.
This morning I enjoyed a display of Sun City car enthusiasts the C.A.R.S. Club of Sun Cities and would like to share them with you... go to

On Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2009 The people of the west valley will welcome the 2009 "Thunder in the Desert Air Show" at the Luke Air Force Base. One of the Stars of the show will be the F-22 Raptor Aerial Demonstration Team. It will be the first time the Raptor will be flying in a show at Luke, so I believe it will be an incredible demonstration of what the Air Force has been doing over the last few years.
You can also enjoy hundreds of aircraft that will be on display including vintage aircraft, and our current frontline fighters. Also scheduled is a demonstration by the world famous United States Air Force Thunderbirds.
This event will increase awareness and support for the base and its valuable mission. I encourage everyone to come and bring the family to enjoy the show and support our troops.
