History & Boats in Sanford, Florida, Lake Monroe Park

Lake Monroe Metal BridgeHow many of these metal bridges are left?

Sort of reminds me of Bridges of Madison County and brings back yesteryear. Wouldn't it be something to have a wedding on this bridge or propose to your loved one?

Make it a party, bring a picnic basket, and the boat ramp is right here!

Talk about wining and dining...this would be Rhine-ing and dining...like being on the Rhine river in Paris which is quite wonderful.

Story of Lake Monroe Bridge, Sanford, Florida Bridge story part II

So, this preservation from the 1930's seems worthwhile to preserve history for future generations.

Engineering and CAD pc programs have probably made bridge designing much easier.

This probably also benefited the steel industry and provided work for people to feed their families and be able to buy homes, cars and the like to enable us to live in a good economy.

Sign photo upon leaving Lake Monroe ParkIt didn't seem this cloudy by the water but this photo is rather dark since night is approaching. Just say goodbye to this trip to the Historic & Boat Park, till the next time...

Tug of War Statue in a Church Atrium, Sanford, Fflorida, Seminole County

statue Does this Tug of War statue evoke any emotions within you?

We have all been there.

What was your situation if you can share it with others?

Sometimes it can be a family member, a friend, a buyer or seller, or just kids playing around.

It can be challenging no matter who it is with. In this statue they all look evenly matched so that makes the fight a little less easy to call.

This statue is in Sanford, Florida in Seminole county in the Sylvan Lake Preserve church and meeting hall at the entrance. It is a good theme for a church since we all wrestle or tug with things at times.

Yes, in Central Florida Orlando Magic is having a bit of a tug of war too.

Just participating in the game sometimes can bring out the team spirit we were all born with and do not always use.

Whatever team you choose-GO TEAM!

What would we do without the SUN?

What would we do without the sun? What would we do without the SUN?

Did you notice the lower clouds look like to hands holding an orb?

and the upper clouds look like a rainbow?

What would we do, I mean, really, without the sun? Electricity?

It may be the highest form of energy fuel in the food chain.

Being that the sun can hold a million earths and is over five billion years old, I can't complain about my age or size. It is a superstar!

surfing the web or surfing the surf or surf and turf? Decisions, decisions...

Surfing the surf Let's see, decisions...decisions..making a decision that will bring a postive result is the best by far. Should I surf the surf? Surf the web? Order surf and turf? We make decisions every day that effect us in many ways. Let us say I picked to surf the surf, well that would be challenging, invigorating and could be dangerous if a shark suddently got hungry. Or maybe I picked to surf the web, well that can lead to ...

Surfing

Surfing the web ...more web surfing and suddenly it is midnite!

surf web

Surf and turf...well let us say I chose the surf and turf what would be the positive outcome? Very tasty, a little fattening, alot of protein, alot of fat...well you get the picture. All this decision making that seems trivial is all part of the big picture. Supposedly time management and decision making go hand in hand, which hand is first, only kidding, what came first the chicken or the egg...evaluation of the outcome will determine if you will repeat the behavior and if it was a good decision will surely be evident! For instance, if the shark appeared that would be the end of my surfing... if the pc got zapped wiell that would be the end of that of if I fell off the chair due to oversurfing the web...or if I had too much lobster and surf and turf I'd either be in the hospital or have indigestion and then I couldn't have dessert.
