Balanced Market- When the average number of homes on the market (homes for sale) takes about six months to sell. If that average falls below six months then our market is consider a seller's market. Above 6 months it is consider a buyer's market. Our market is currently in a buyer's market because we have an average 7.67 months of homes on the market to sell. The positive for 2008 the average time on the market has decreased compared to 2007 by a half of month ½, very little bite helps to stabilizing our local market. You know my adult children still want Easter baskets and share a family meal; we have always celebrated Easter this way. I hope when they have their families they will take time to share this special time of the year.
Buying a home can be very stressful with that stress buyer's want to save money. The key to saving thousand of dollars and reducing stress is the buyer's real estate agent. An agent that knows the market understands what is a good deal for their home buyer is key to saving thousands on a home purchase. Most home buyer's start looking at foreclosed home thinking every foreclosed home will save them money. Not true. Five out of six foreclosed homes are in need of major repair which most buyer's won't consider doing. But the sixth home in need of very little repair and is priced to sell or priced below the local market. This is the one home that can save buyer's money. Normal saving is $15,000 and up. The buyer's real estate agent must be able to quickly determine the home value and how to write the offer for a foreclosed home, how to communicate to the buyer during the buying process of a foreclosed home or bank owned property. This process is not normal and the owner is the bank and they run this process by their own rules and the buyer's agent must know these rules to help buyers save money, time and reduce stress.. Spring is here and WOW what a mess the winter has left on my windows. Okay, I know not a fun project, but I found a great solution to clean glass. Cleaning glass, particularly home windows and car windows. I've always hated this job, what I hate the most is the solutions available to buy, don't' clean. I recently found this solution to work the best, you will need the following; rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, water and powder detergent, cleaning plastic gloves, a bucket, old wash cloth, and newspaper or paper towels. Mix in the bucket, ½ cup of alcohol rubbing, ½ cup of white vinegar, three pinches of powder detergent, 2 gallons of hot/warm water, mix well. Put on the plastic cleaning gloves to protect your hands, use your old wash cloth to apply the cleaning solution to the window and wipe dry with either paper towels or news paper. Note if you use newspaper to wipe dry the surface, make sure the paper doesn't get to wet otherwise the ink will start to bleed, so change to a new sheet of newspaper often. Now your windows will shine.
Selling your or just purchase a home this is a great solution for clean windows.
