It's Soccer Season in East Goshen Township!

Today dawned, sunny and glorious with a light breeze. Today is Greater Chester Valley Soccer Association's first game and we couldn't have ordered up a more beautiful day to watch our children run around the field.

Greater Chester Valley Soccer Association

While watching, I turned to the mom next to me and thought aloud something that I had been thinking. Our children are very lucky indeed to live in this glorious area called Chester County. We are all lucky, here in the United States, to live free, to enjoy the pursuit of happiness, whatever that may mean for each of us, individually.

Today is also Keep East Goshen Beautiful Day and all along the roads I saw East Goshen residents, dressed for safety, cleaning up the area, so we can hold our heads up proudly when we tell people where we live. I know it's not thankful Thursday, but today, I am so Thankful for the sunshine, the warm breeze, my son Max, who scored the only goal of his team today, all of the volunteers along the road, Max's coach Matt Doyle, who puts his heart and soul into the team, the armed forces who keep us safe, President Obama, and the new buyers I am meeting to show homes to this afternoon.

All in all, a perfect day, and here's JJ, enjoying it, under my beautiful Bradford Pear Tree.
