Bridges of Madison County, Or Maybe Read the Book?

Bridge CoverDid you see the movie Bridges of Madison County? Or, maybe read the book?

This "bridge" isn't in Madison County but do you know where it is? Doesn't look like something we normally have in the Bryan/College Station area. Could it be in Franklin? How about Caldwell or Navasota? Do you know?

If you know be sure to post the answer first on The Century Tree Reader and win movie tickets to Premiere or Cinemark. If you are the first to post correctly you will forever be known as "Bridge" or maybe "Madison"... or.....

Aggies, Pennies & Tradition - College Station

rosspennies.png

So you wonder why Aggies would put a penny on the feet of the Sul Ross statue? "The story is told that when Governor Ross was President of the Agricultural and sul_ross_statue.jpgMechanical College, his door was always open for any student to come by when he needed help with anything, even class. Ross was knownMore... to tutor multiple cadets when they needed it, and when they would offer to pay him all he would accept was a penny. So today, we put a penny at his feet for his good luck on our next exam." Does it work?

Love what I do no matter who spray paints the house!

My what a week we have had with foreclosures! I have been in real estate since 1982 and yet this week is one for the books. In one week we had kids break into a house and spray paint almost every surface inside. Within hours the kids were arrested since it was easy to find out who was skipping school. Of course we have insurance and rehab issues to deal with and hope to close next week. At another property buyers moved in before they owned the property. Will they actually get the property purchased or will we have to evict? Who gave them the keys? Many new properties coming and more and more.

I have a great team handling these properties which allows me to spend my time doing what I love most at work. I have gotten to spend time with my sales agents helping them achieve THEIR goals. I am so blessed to work with a strong, creative and exciting group of agents that give so much of themselves to their clients. This group of agents care so much about their clients and want to do all they can to provide the best customer service possible. They continue to share marketing ideas, encourage each other and and still sell more real estate than any other firm in the Brazos Valley.
