If you are traveling on Davis LN and you have to cross Brodie LN to get to where you're going, Davis does that jog to the left and becomes Deer LN, then you have to turn left at Brodie and then right at Davis again in order to continue. This can be a pain since Deer LN only has two lanes, so if you need to turn right at Brodie but cars in front of you are turning left guess what, you have to wait. This area can get pretty backed up during rush hour.

In about two years this is going to change. You know that open field at the NW corner of Deer and Brodie? Davis LN will run through it; instead of that jog to the left to continue on Deer, Davis will continue on across that field past the Goat Creek Karst, so instead of having to make the left and right turn to continue on Davis, it will continue across the open field and meet with the other Davis LN.

There also is a new commercial development going up in that area as well which will include a bank, and two general commercial buildings. It is located at the foot of Deer LN at the SE corner on Brodie and Davis. It will have entrances from Brodie and Davis.
