Check out this list of a few "natural" solutions that can keep your home clean and reduce the impact on your pocketbook and your environment.
General Cleaning Agent:
1 cup of distilled vinegar
1 cup of hot water
* add baking soda for a
mild abrasive clean
Window & Mirror Cleaner
2 T. white distilled vinegar
(or lemon juice)
1 gallon water
Mix, spray on windows and
be sure to wipe clean with
newspaper over paper towels to avoid streaking
Furniture Polish:
½ cup olive oil
½ cup distilled vinegar
20 drops of lemon oil
Shake well - Rub into
wood with dry cloth
Weed Killer:
1 gallon white vinegar
1 cup salt
8 drops liquid soap
Mix and spray on weeds!

Veterans Administration Loans - Buy VA
Moving to Fort Lewis or McChord AFB?
If you are considering buying a home near Fort Lewis or McChord AFB, you may want to consider a VA Loan as an option.
VA loans feature a true 100% financing, no money down option for active duty and veterans with honorable discharge from military service. There is no specific FICO (credit) score required! The borrower must simply be able to demonstrate the ability to make the monthly payment.
VA loans also feature low 30 year fixed interest rates and there is NO monthly mortgage insurance payments required; a feature that FHA does no afford the borrower.
The current VA loan limit is $417,000. While multi-family loans are available, they require the borrower to show one year of rental management experience.
